Perth-based, multi-talented all-rounder Newport is the project of singer, songwriter and producer Dylon Newport. Influenced by modern-alternative pop, soul and hip-hop, he has quickly found an audience for his unique brand of sun-soaked pop, earning over a million global streams.

Newport has built a buzzing community in his hometown of Perth, is fresh off an East Coast tour, and has previously supported Mitch Santiago, Death By Denim and Tyne James-Organ. Written, performed, and mixed entirely by Newport, his newest release ‘OBSESSED’ is the perfect follow-up to previous single ‘INTERSTATE’; a dreamy, lush burst of sunshine-infused, chill-pop. ‘OBSESSED’ marks a slight change in tone from Newport’s recent releases, celebrating the joy of love, and is one of the highlights of his forthcoming EP, SELDOM (out Wednesday 4 June 2025 via Mushroom Music).
